Folk Fleur Breakfast Tray

Regular Price$312

Handwoven with the rustic ease of an old countryside kitchen, this breakfast tray recalls the sort of basketware stacked beside an Aga or hanging from wooden pegs in a well-lived-in pantry. Created in collaboration with Underwater Weaving Studio, each piece carries the tactile irregularities of the maker’s hand — tightly woven reed, wrapped handles, softened edges — giving it the feeling of something inherited rather than newly made. Ideal for carrying thick-cut marmalade toast, a pot of coffee, or strawberries still warm from the garden.

Dimensions: 17L x 10W x 3D in Handle 5in ; 43L x 25.4W x 7.6D cm Handle 12.7cm
Material: Woven from mature rattan sourced from Indonesia
Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

About the Maker

Founded by designer Erin Pollard and based between New York and Maine, Underwater Weaving Studio creates handwoven basketware that balances sculptural form with everyday utility. Each piece is made by hand in Maine using traditional weaving techniques and natural materials, embracing the irregular textures and subtle variations that come from true craftsmanship. Pollard’s work draws from historic basketry traditions while giving them a distinctly contemporary sensibility — tactile, functional, and expressive.
