Stacked like a block of stone, this vase has an air of Brancusi — silver-plated brass squared off into flat planes that catch light at hard angles instead of soft ones. A single window of marbled green stone sits low on one face, cool and mineral, like a perfect stone one might pocket on the beach.

About the Maker
The workshop behind this piece has been bending metal in Istanbul since 2004, and it shows — not in polish alone, but in the patience underneath it. Copper and brass start rough, worked by hand into form, then sent through silver, gold, or nickel plating until the surface earns its shine rather than just wearing it. Nothing here is inherited technology; it's inherited hands. A family discipline, several generations deep, applied to objects that have no interest in trends — only in outlasting them.
