A small woven basket designed in collaboration with Underwater Weaving, with the feeling of something discovered at a countryside brocante or tucked beside the fruit bowl in a kitchen wallpapered in dahlias. Handwoven and charmingly irregular, a single red accent woven through the base gives it a subtle pop of unexpected colour. Ideal for cherries, playing cards, or other small domestic treasures.

Material: Woven from mature rattan sourced from Indonesia
Care: For indoor use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is a natural and flexible plant fiber. If misshapen during use, firmly mold back into place.

About the Maker

Founded by designer Erin Pollard and based between New York and Maine, Underwater Weaving Studio creates handwoven basketware that balances sculptural form with everyday utility. Each piece is made by hand in Maine using traditional weaving techniques and natural materials, embracing the irregular textures and subtle variations that come from true craftsmanship. Pollard’s work draws from historic basketry traditions while giving them a distinctly contemporary sensibility — tactile, functional, and expressive.
