About the Maker

Bitossi has been making ceramics in Montelupo Fiorentino, just outside Florence, since 1921. In the 1950s, designer Aldo Londi brought the studio its signature style: bold color, confident shape, and a sense of humor rarely seen in Italian tableware at the time. That spirit now extends beyond ceramics into glassware as well, each piece made in Italy with the same eye for shape and color that defines the studio.
