The perfect dish for a spoonful of chutney, a pool of olive oil, or flaky salt for the table. Finished in Cornishware's Adder Green stripe, first turned on a potter's lathe back in 1924. Stack two or three down the center of the table and you've got a spread that looks like it belongs in a Cornish hedgerow — moss, leaf, and shadow, scaled down to condiment-size.

About the Maker
Cornishware has been sitting on British kitchen shelves for a century and shows no signs of leaving. Born in 1924, its signature stripes came from a delightfully clever bit of pottery trickery: a piece would be dipped in blue slip, then set spinning on a lathe while a craftsman shaved bands away to reveal the pale clay hiding underneath. Those bold, cheerful stripes just so happened to look exactly like the Cornish coast — blue sky, white-capped waves — which is exactly where the name comes from.
