Alden Egg Board
Inspired by the natural shape of an egg, this walnut board has gentle curves and a smooth, balanced feel. Carefully sanded and finished, the rich grain of the wood remains visible beneath the surface. Just the thing for a generous block of sharp cheddar, a sliced pear, and a pile of almonds.

Material: American Black Walnut. Hand-sanded and finished with food-safe oils and waxes.
Care: To preserve the natural beauty of your board, wash by hand with mild soap and warm water. Never soak the wood or place it in a dishwasher. Dry thoroughly after each use and condition occasionally with a food-safe oil or board cream to prevent drying and maintain the wood's luster.
About the Maker
Working from a studio in New York’s Hudson Valley, this workshop produces wooden objects for the home with a sculptor’s sense of proportion. Each piece is shaped from American hardwood—walnut, maple, cherry, or oak—then sanded and finished by hand in the studio.
