How many strawberry towers does one come across in this life, we wonder.
Not enough, is the answer.
We remedied that last week with a lovely floral workshop hosted by the even lovelier Molly Ford, in partnership with Dolce Vita and Create Dinners. Long tables under fairy lights, roses in every direction, scissors handed out like party favours, and yes — a tower of strawberries that had absolutely no business being that tall or that beautiful.
The garden, as ever, did a great deal of the heavy lifting, but it was the company shared that made this afternoon feel so abundant. Chef Gina Bruno fed us generously, Molly gave away a few trade secrets, Kate hosted the group with unflappable grace, and Dolce Vita sent everyone home with new shoes for the season.
