Alex Eagle

Long time friend and cousin(ish) of Alice.

We are so excited to be sharing The Selection Of Alex Eagle. Long time friend and cousin(ish) of Alice, we can report that Alex has always had ‘it’ and by ‘it’ we mean that naturally, unassumingly charming, cheeky, open and generous character that makes you want to dance into the night and get up and get to work in the morning. There are always things to be done in the world of Alex Eagle, but they are done so delightfully and with such magnetism that work becomes play and play becomes work. And so, she has built a world that flows seamlessly between everything that she loves and is interested in, from family to art, fashion, friends, design, wellness, travel and on!

The project is life, and Alex helps lead the way so that we can all (aspire to) live the dream - most directly with Alex Eagle Studio, but also through the creative direction of the Store at Soho House Berlin and Soho Farmhouse, as well as the amazing creative hum at 180 the Strand in London.

Come step in line and have a peek at what Alex is loving at PORTA, and read more about what she thinks of each in our Edits online. And guess what - we are pretty sure you will like it.

OBJECT & THING X PORTA | Ice Cream Spoon and Fish Fork. The ice cream spoon is such a beautiful object. When you’re not using it for spooning ice cream, you can just have it as an object on display. Same goes for the tinned fish fork.

RIGA TABLECLOTH AND NAPKIN SET | The rust color is very chic. The wide simple stripes are not too busy, and adds drama and fun to a table.

RIGA PLACEMATS | The placemats on top of the tablecloth with the napkins make a really fun geometric rust and cream pattern.

VINTAGE FRENCH MONOGRAMMED NAPKIN | I have loads of these, and they look lovely on every table. The generous size means they more than cover your lap, which makes them very functional as well.

THEO FENNELL STERLING SILVER | These came out when I was a child, and I always coveted them then. They are fun, elegant and very nostalgic to me.

DARIA PASTA BOWL |The burgundy colour - they are both simple, fun, and add a bit of drama to your table without being too busy. I also find pasta bowls to be super versatile.

GUSTAVO SNACK BOWL | Very chic and pretty placed down a table. They can be used for anything from nuts and olives to Maltesers and little chocolates after dinner.

ICHENDORF MILANO DECO WATER GLASS | These are something but nothing, because the glasses are clear, they are super simple, however the pattern gives them a bit of pizzazz to the dinner table.

TINA MARTINI GLASS | These are the simplest and chicest glasses - also who doesn’t love a martini?

MARENA WATER GLASS | Love the smoked colour. They look so pretty by your bed or at a dining table.

GEMMA JUG | Such a beautiful jug, perfect for water or cocktails at the table. Acts as a beautiful sculpture in your dining room when you’re not using it.

PORTA X SMOKING JACKET CIGARETTE CASE | "Although I don’t smoke, these are a really chic way of having cigarettes on the table. The girls at PORTA and Chiara from Smoking Jacket are friends, and we did a collaboration with Smoking Jacket also. I always love to see friends collaborate and create something together."
