About the Maker
Founded in 1907, Viarco is Portugal’s oldest pencil factory and one of the few remaining pencil manufacturers in Europe. Still family-owned and operated, the company continues to produce its pencils much as it did over a century ago — in small batches, using traditional techniques and carefully chosen materials.
