About the Brand
Nogent has been making cutlery in the Champagne region of France since 1923, in a village where knife-making traditions go back to the Middle Ages. Every piece runs through 42 separate steps across ten workshops before it earns the Nogent name, still quality-checked by hand at each stage. The steel is sourced for its high carbon and molybdenum content, the wood dried on-site for a full year before it's used, the whole operation built around the idea that a tool made this way should last a lifetime.
