About the Maker
A small workshop in Lyon built around the idea that old linen is worth more than new. Rather than weaving from scratch, the maker sources vintage tea towels, table linens, and household cloth from flea markets and estate sales across France, then hand-restores each piece: cleaned, mended, sometimes redyed, always left with its original stripes or monogram intact. It's slow, one-piece-at-a-time work, closer to conservation than manufacturing, and it means every towel that leaves the workshop has already lived a full life before this one.
