Originally crafted in the 1950s and ’60s from richly grained African woods, it would have been given as a treasured gift to Portuguese families living abroad — a token of place, memory, and status. Decades later, artist Antje Weber has sourced and restored it, adding sterling silver, stone, and subtle details that honor its past while giving it new life.
