Perceval, based in Thiers—the historic center of French cutlery since the Middle Ages—continues a lineage of knife-making rooted in precision and craft. Founded in 1997 by Eric Perceval, the workshop produces knives in small batches, with each piece assembled and finished by hand. Blades are forged from high-grade stainless steels such as Sandvik, then ground, polished, and sharpened with close attention to balance and edge.
