Founded in Rome in 1798, Gammarelli is one of the world’s oldest tailors and the historic atelier responsible for dressing the papacy and clergy for over two centuries. Still family-run after six generations, the workshop is renowned for its extraordinary craftsmanship, unwavering attention to detail, and quiet, understated elegance.

While best known for ecclesiastical garments, Gammarelli has also become celebrated for its iconic cotton lisle socks — color-coded by tradition and beloved far beyond Vatican walls.
