Ali Hewson

Ali Hewson is a British ceramic artist based in Norwich, known for her expressive vessels and tableware that bridge past and present. Inspired by historical objects, her work often nods to 17th-century slipware and London Delftware. Her passion for mud-larking along secret Thameside locations brings fragments of history into her studio, where each shard sparks new ideas.

She produces small collections using renewable energy and mindful, waste-reducing practices, reusing clay and painting with natural oxides. Each piece transforms slowly in the kiln, emerging as a one-of-a-kind object that feels both rooted in history and completely of today.
