We’re thrilled to share that Courtney Grow is up next in our Selection Of series—an edit shaped by her signature eye for beauty, whimsy, and wonderful things. If you follow Courtney, you already know the magic she brings: a mix of classic and playful, polished and personal, all delivered with warmth, wit, and unmistakable style.
We first met when she whirled into our shop in search of treasures for her new home in storied Columbia Heights. She was full of enthusiasm, curiosity, and a real excitement to build something layered and lived-in.
Fast forward and we are co-hosting a dinner together —gathering friends who love design, fashion, good food, and a great chat.
Courtney Grow

"When we moved into our place in Brooklyn Heights, the first thing I bought was a vintage table held up by swans. I’d always been fascinated by Truman Capote’s swans, and the idea of living with a house full of women felt exactly right. It’s not precious, though. I have four kids, and our house still has to be a place a chaotic family can live and breathe every day. I like pieces that feel alive but also do their job. That’s why so many things from PORTA made their way in."
Testa di Moro Head - a watchful eye full of drama and intrigue. Just the type of woman I like.
Hugo Money Pot - An exercise in restraint. There is only one way in and you have to smash it to get your savings out. Looks like a wonderful object as well, beautiful enough to have out and for all the family to add to
Capricico Placemats - Wipeable (a dream with four children) and beautiful enough for the grown-up table too. The design was inspired by PORTA’s ceiling — the very one that led you to work with Alley Bell on your own dining room!
Akila Catchall - Made from Egyptian alabaster. Perfect for soap, jewelry, or just to have on your bedside table.
Diana Soap - Speaking of soap, these are the best guest soaps in town. Beauty by way of Diana herself, and a perfect host gift.
Vincent Ice Bucket - Technically for ice, but I’d use it for flowers. More is more, and this holds them with extra panache.
