Art360: Pangea

Pangea is a bold, wild and wonderful creative collaboration between Lisbon based painter and ceramicist Laetitia Rouget, and Paris based fashion designer and creative director Colombine Jubert. The duo met at Central Saint Martins in London, and through Pangea manifest a hybrid utopia that mixes art, fashion and performance with a focus on free-spirited femininity, colorful poetry, optimism and sincerity. Their Flags are central to the Pangea world construct and are emblazoned with text and imagery built over time, that has become part of an intoxicating lexicon they seek to shine out into the world.

Each Flag design is a limited edition, with never more than 8 of each made. Exquisite, deeply cool and original, to have one hung in your space feels both delightful and empowering, and ties you to a like minded community that upholds the precious and often fragile dignity of love, hope and support. 

Pangea Flags are extraordinary works of craftsmanship and a celebration of what is possible in the world around us if we collectively desire and work towards positive change. Using bold colors, repeated graphics and call to action text, they are a central component of Pangea's multifaceted creative body of work. Their flags invite you to be part of their new world order.
