Inez Napkin, Set of 6
These beautiful napkins are hand embroidered with traditional designs that have been passed down from generation to generation in a town in Northern Portugal. Originally only executed in red or blue threads on white cloth, the base color used for these tablecloths has been updated for a contemporary summery feel that brings a bold vibrancy to the patterns inherent elegance. Pair with the Inez tablecloth for the full effect, or use alone to add something special to the table.

About the Maker
Founded in 1985, this atelier is dedicated to Viana do Castelo embroidery, which traditionally uses blue or red cotton to embroider patterns such as leaves, flowers and hearts of white cloth. After mastering this rich heritage, the atelier is now building on these techniques introducing new colors and designs. Their work has done much to revitalise this craft in Northern Portugal.
